guys so two days ago we were going to Wendy's and while running to catch the bus my phone fell out of my pocket. It's not like I haven't dropped my phone 400 times before so I wasn't freaking out at first, but once we got on the bus I pulled out my phone to check the time and my screen was completely shattered D: 

when I first saw my phone I was less shocked than the rest of physicsnotphysics since it's 2 weeks till my birthday being the brat I am I was just going to convince my parents to get me a new phone. 

But now that I've used it for over 24 hours I realized it actually brings me pain, not the shattered screen but rather trying to look at my phone through the shattered screen. I think I am going blind, I so need a new phone

Skipping diploma prep for takoyaki

Hey Mark here! So today my teacher offered a diploma prep/IB potluck for us (math diploma tomorrow, #yolo right?), and originally I was gonna go to it and stay from the beginning to the end (10am-2pm) but I ended up waking up at 11 (late night league). I got to there at 12 but I only stayed long enough to eat some chips and salsa cuz in reality I changed my mind and the only reason I went to school was to meet up with friend's so we could go get japanese food at Shijiki's. I'm not that worried about math diplomas and the food was delicious so #noregrets

k so this is takoyaki, which is kinda like fishballs except made out of flour with a crispy outside smothered in teriyaki sauce and on the inside there's mayo, green onions, octopus, and pieces of tempura. the outside is some kind of onion flake or something (idk), it tasted ok but not as good compared to the actual takoyaki

It's my first time having this and it's probably one of the best thing's I've ever eaten.

Rating of 11/10 best 6 dollars I've ever spent 

k so andy got this dish that was like rice at the bottom with a bunch of tempura and other fried stuff (yams, zucchini, eggplants and stuff). good guy andy shared some tempura (y)

k so this is what I got along with my takoyaki. this is the lunch bento box option h or something and basically it includes soup (kinda salty but tasted good), fried rice (japanese fried rice>chinese fried rice), a small salad, chicken teriyaki (or was it beef sukiyaki i dont remember), a couple pieces of sushi, and slices of raw tuna and salmon (gave them away cuz i dont like the texture of raw fish). Overall their food is pretty good and the service was pretty nice too, I was full before I was even finished (pretty rare since I eat quite a bit). The takoyaki was by far the best part.

Airplane seats and society

Hey everyone, Mark here and this will be kinda like a guideline to sitting in airplanes. So basically I was just thinking randomly and suddenly I thought about airplane seats. I know people who will complain about getting the middle seat in an airplane (aka my mom) when you should actually make the best and take advantage of whatever seat you're in.

Here are the advantages and what you should do depending on which seat you get.

•Window seat: you have 1 arm rest, a wall to lean out of, and a window to look out at the view, pretty self explanatory 

•Aisle seat: you get 1 arm rest and extra leg room, but DO NOT stick your feet or legs into the aisle. That just makes it inconvenient for other passengers. You have the room for leg adjustments and different angles to place your legs.

•Middle seat: the middle seat might seem like there are no advantages. After all, you're stuck between to people and you have no leg room. However, both of the armrests on either side of you belong to you. That's right, you get TWO armrests and no that does not make you a douche since thats what makes it fair. Think of it like this, why should the window seat guy get two armrests AND a wall to lean on whenever they want?? Why should the aisle dude get two armrests AND more freedom to move his legs?? By process of elimination (like in a multiple choice test), both armrests on either side of you are yours. We aren't animals, we live in a society.

SO physics exam today
i didnt ace it
i already screamed about what i got wrong and how the test is stupid and how everyone wants to fight me today so i don't really have anything to rant here, but BASICALLY i am disappointed
i should've worked harder - instead of go to cardel on wednesday thinking i can cram an entire semester's worth of information in a 7 hour study session. i should have gotten more than 4 and a half hours of sleep the night before an important exam. but whatever. hopefully our physics teacher sees the hard work and dedication i've put into this class, and standardizes me to where i belong (huehafglk 90+%**)

Gossip Girl

hi guys, it's Haiger ^__^ the rest of physicsnotphysics is currently going hard at cardel but I went home to watch gossip girl. okay so I just finished the series today after like a month of marathoning, and in my opinion the last 2 seasons were eh, like a lot of it didn't have to be in the show, kind of irrelevant to the ending and all. but I liked the way it ended :') I wasn't surprised that Dan Humphrey was gossip girl since the series ended a few months ago and it was all over the news(and for those of you who are currently watching gossip girl but haven't gotten to the ending, sorry for spoilers). I think I would've enjoyed the series more if I didn't read all the spoilers ):

"Physics Never Fails You..

You fail physics." Wise words of our physics teacher. I actually do think I'm going to fail the final tomorrow :( was tempted to play a game of league, but it kept crashing. And its probably the reason why my laptop wouldn't start up today. Oh well, I guess that's a sign I should study more.

Speaking of feels, I passed by my old elementary school on my way to physics today and I saw all the 6-10 year olds out to play in their uniforms and all :') (TLC school) and I realized that I'm old ewww
I used to look up to the grade 6's and think "I'll never be as old as them" wow I was a really dumb kid xD
but topic of little kids I just remembered I have this photo [deep feels trip]

So in Chinese school they made us have reading buddies and in the beginning I was like no way I don't want to skip some of break to go read to little kids. One thing about me is that I actually abhor little children. I found them messy and low in knowledge. First day I went in, and they told us (the grade 12 class) to go and pick a buddy, and I happened to be lucky and picked probably the most adorable kid in there. And I don't ever use the word adorable. Yeah I enjoyed reading to her and all that but what was really touching was that one time her teacher came up to me and told me "She's been crying all class, but after you read to her she was happy for the rest of the day." CHEESY I KNOW but it was cute and there's more. After about 5 times going into that class, the kids would recognize you and find their buddies on their own ^^ It's actually so touching when they come over to you and take your hand, you know that you are a part of their life, even if its 30 min on a Saturday afternoon. Oh I'd show you the full picture if I didn't look max faded w/ lazy eye level 9000.

I have no idea how I got from physics to little kids but yeah its 2am I don't know if I should study more or sleep but im done for today

Mark doesnt hate physics

I hate myself. I literally didn't do anything physics review during the break and I shouldve been studying yesterday instead of playing badminton and I hate myself so much for it. Just finished a HUGE study session and there's still a few types of problems that I'm not confident with (pilots, aim your airplanes properly!!!!!!). Overall, today (technically yesterday) was pretty good. Went out to eat before physics class but we ended up having to wait like 40min+ for our food because they messed up. The food tasted like Kepler's 3rd Law but at least it was pretty filling.

We ended up being late for class since Hagret led us through a "shortcut" which actually led to nowhere (at least it was fun watching her slip). Class was also so boring since we spent like half the time just drawing circuits =___= Physics final in like 7 hours and Im still here blogging :/ Well, at least I avoided robert hooke's third law today so thats an upside. Gonna get a few hours of sleep so good night people!

okay hey guys, I just finished a 8 hour study sesh with the physics kids and shit life is actually rough. our time management skills may need a little work. 

I think I spend more time making acronyms to try to remember theory than actually studying ): and my acronyms kind of don't make sense like "every awesome elephant poops on sad cats" I'm not even going to try to explain that.

Well before I get to the main part, let me just tell you guys how my day went ^____^ deal with me for a sec k (rage warning)
Basically the best part of today was probably math class. Yep, that's basically how lame today was, that MATH was the one class that made my day. The rest of the day was cardel ; could not hit the shuttle for my life, and then realizing that my friends are actually the worst and they told me they won't even miss me :( Well that makes transferring a whole lot easier then! And coming home to my mom raging at me for asking my dad for a ride...a ride for my "friends"

These are Kosare by Call It Spring and I found them while shopping a few weeks ago with my Chinese school crew but too broke to buy them QQ I don't even know if I can walk in heels, but damn I wouldn't mind being taller than 5 ft for once! Personally I find them cute but whatever (or whoever) I find cute or nice there's always some people that say they're ugly. Oh well each to their own! And when all else fails, I go to my main fashion/life advisor +Meiting Lai ! However, she forbids me to buy them, since they're 4 inch heels and if I wore them I'd be closer to her height.  I probably will though when I get a chance (and a job :c )

The fact that this is Dolce&Gabbana makes up for the price of $7k. The website calls the design "enchanting" haha.. Honestly, I chose this one to post because the heel is a metal cage, like a cage where you keep birds in. Annd today I ALMOST stepped on a dead bird. So yeah relevant connection. And yes there are scarier shoes out there.

Another site I found while going off task studying were grad dresses. I don't even have grad for another year and a half but some of them are really really nice LOL I would share but I just remembered what Samuel the rudest motherfucker alive told me (" You won't even have a date for grad so why does it even matter")  So I'm just gonna go back to studying for physics , or more online shopping

Haiger hates Chemistry

oKAY guys, as you all know courtesy of lzm8 chem marks were posted, and let's just say I did shit on the final, completelyyyyyyy bombed. And usually I'm no 95+ average kid like Luke but my mark was decent, but after the final it brought me down so much, I am at the lowest I have ever been. HOLYYYY SHIT. Yea I'm just praying standardization brings me up at least 7-8% or I'm actually going to get disowned.
Not feeling Chem 30-35 anymore, Brandon is totally going to beat me.. ):
On the bright side, I went out for wings with the cutest couple today, and they didn't even make me third wheel THAT much :')

Day in the life of lzm8 #1

Heeey guys~ so I just came home from cardel and I'm eating some rice and fish and asiany stuff (water tastes sooo good after exercise omggg) (call me thirsty)
ANYWAYS, so basically today - i woke up at 12 cause I stayed up till 4am doing the math ia (ib shit) and got a ride from parents to get to math classes at 1. I got in maaaadddd trooouble lmfao, cause I got ready at like 12:55 and my dad ended up yelling at me for like that entire car ride. Was late buuut yeeeeaaaah DAYINTHELIFE

Math class was fun ^__^ learned stuff LOL yah
OOOOOH AND BEST THING EVER. So yesterday our chem final exam marks came up, and it said I got a 76%. You don't even know. I was so sad omg, cause I thought I got like at least a 95% afterwards. I knew there had to be something wrong (lol no cockiness intended) so I asked my teacher about it. Turns out she calculated it wrong or something and I actually got a 95% c: YAAAY~~ probably the best part of my day ^__^(Y)

So after math class, I went to cardel right after with Wendy and Brandon. On the walk to the bus stop, Wendy stepped on a dead bird that was like ripped in half and shit and it was fucking nasty. Idek who did that. (I think maybe there's murderous animals nearby school).

Toddy up for Adoption

So today after math class (yeah I have class during exam break it sucks), we were gonna go to cardel but Toddy didn't bring his stuff so I went with him to go get it. While I was there this random lady was ringing his doorbell. Toddy didn't know who she was but I did since I have amazing insight (its like I have a built in Oracles). Basically, Toddy's mom put him up for adoption and that lady is gonna be his new mother (trust me on this, im 200% sure).

So the title says it all, my name's Wendy Huang, grade 11and a half, Diefenbaker high school (but not for long, I'll get to that later). Soon to be EX-full IB student, and starting to blog because I'll have a lot of time on my hands, not to be wasted by playing games like League of Legends (IGN: mi ahn hae [Gold I]) or posting pictures of my life (IG:@weeendy10_97 that's 3 e's). Luckily, I don't have to do this math internal assessment everyone's complaining about since I'm attending SWC high school next semester for location reasons. Misconception

Alright guys, Haiger here again. I finally finished my IA after a gruesome 5 hours, including the time I put in prior to today. BUT I just wanted to point out a slight misconception with my blogfriends' (should I be calling them that?) posts. While they state that I was the reason they missed buffet today, in my defense it was NOT my fault.
Okay here's a description of our day. We had math class, even though it's exam break? Yea IB is stupid. But we had both morning and afternoon classes so what do we do with the 1.5 hours in between? Lunch of course. ^^ I proposed an idea to go out and eat buffet at Deerfoot mall, it's about 20 minute walk from the school give or take. So we rush to the buffet right after math class ends, and when we get there IT'S FRICKIN CLOSED FOR RENOVATION! Is it my fault that they are renovating?! HELL NAW
Brandon says it is because I didn't check the buffet's "twitter" do restaurants even use twitter?

Hi guys!! ^.^;; Um...this is my first blog post so I'm not quite sure what to put on here...heheh :3 I guess I should start with an introduction, how's that everybody?~ c:

WELL, to start with, my name's Luke Zhang (aka lzhang. aka lzm8. aka lz. aka lzhang_10 (dats my instagram btw i go on that a lot follow for follow <3)) and im in ib and uhh

ANYWAYS, so I'll be posting daily on stuff like:

• My life - daily insights on my day, interesting little things that I found interesting that I hope YOU'LL find interesting!! I'll tag them luke c:
• My thoughts/rants - since this website has a phone app, and since I get pretty bored/deep/sad at night, I'll basically be posting some of these thoughts. Some of them will make you think. Some of them will make you cry. Some of them will probably make you go like "what the...." but yah. MY STYLE MY FLAVA t(._.)t
• maybe some occasional vlogs if i'm feeling it

OKAY BUT ANYWAYS let's start off by what i did today!

Well, even though we have exam break right now, I still have to go to school because I'm in IB and life sucks ): but it was actually pretty fun!! SO FIRST OF ALL, my alarm didn't go off today because I had an exam yesterday, and being the overly anxious person I am, I muted eeeeeverything on my phone beforehand, including the alarm volume lol. Forgot to unmute it yesterday night, and I ended up waking up at 8:30 (school starts at 9 and I have to bus). BUT, call me Speed King. Call me Fast and Furious. Call me Sonic the freaking Hedgehog. I showered, got dressed, grabbed two bananas and a Yop drink, ran to the bus stop and made it just in time to catch the 8:40 bus. THAT'S LIKE 293681046 THINGS IN 10 MINUTES. But I was panting like a mutha--, ended up coughing for like half the day cause of that. Anyways, on the bus, ate my two bananas and Yop, went to school. Learned math.

THEN CLASS ENDED AND IT WAS TIME TO GO TO THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET!! So there's this buffet nearby school and we planned to go there. Me and the rest of the homies here at physicsnotphysics.blogspot.com (this name wasnt my idea btw -.- i wanted lzandtheboyz **COMMENT BELOW if you think that's a better url!!) went to the buffet. BUT, IT TURNS OUT IT WAS CLOSED TILL MARCH FOR RENOVATION. THEN WE BLAMED HAIGER FOR THE REST OF THE DAY CAUSE IT'S ALL HER FAULT I DIDN'T GET TO EAT MY ALL YOU CAN EAT. We ended up going for pho cause Steven's nasty, but it was okay I guess. We ended up going to KFC too since we saw a new $2 menu (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrEOZk23FzA) and I got the strawberry swirl cake and honestly...it was pretty good..!

SO BASICALLY then we went back to school to do physics, and today we did these labs involving electric circuits!!

THEN i went home, the guys over at physicsnotphysics.blogspot.com (can you see why i hate it -__-) started making this blog. I worked on my math IA, beat wendy in a 1v1 on league of legends (oh add me on that it's lzm8) and now I'm writing this blog entry. Probably gonna be a late night cause Im still not done my math ia hahah, I better go get started!!

Now that I've got that over with, lets get started. My name's Mark, but if you want you can call me "God" or something. I'm currently *insert age here" old and I go to Dief. It's a small school and the hallways are always too crowded but the people there are great...kinda. I spend hours every day wasting my time on League, Osu, Reddit (fucking reddit such a waste of time but so addicting), and watching Anime (watch Psycho Pass, Kyokai no Kanata, and FMA Brotherhood, theyr'e so good). With all that, I don't know how I'm doing well in IB right now. Sorry our first post was actually disgusting, probably never going to let Sam post again. But I just needed to take a break from my math Internal Assessment ^__^ whoever thought it was a good idea to make a bunch of Asian kids write a 12 page essay on math was an asshole. We are all ESL. So apparently this post is supposed to be some sort of introduction? I don't really know how to introduce myself to people, I usually just say "Hi, I'm Haiger. My name is a city in Germany" But hey, my name is city in Germany. I'm probably just going to use this blog to complain about homework and how hard the #IBLYFE is, along with my fellow physics companions. Idk man, take bio IB not physics, words of wisdom I definitely should have listened to. Time to work on IA again, goodbye blog~
