apparently i dont contribute anything (churchill endeavors)

shout out to Jennifer "Horse Girl" Li for reminding us of this blog but since we've been on hiatus for so long not many people still read this thanks to those in Canada, USA, and Romania who apparently check our site :(

Anyways I didn't really feel like doing churchill endeavors because 

1. I hate the school

2. who really wants to hear about my 100% in calc

3. what are friends aka basically 6 hours of me being lonely and judging observing people in my classes

4. I'm complaining about specific people on here, and if they happen to fall upon this blog they may take offense. However, it is the 12th grade and after this, I won't see any of them ever again. 

So, for your interests, I'll just sum up my classes in a bit

Period 1 : Bio w/ Ackerman

no no not Levi or Mikasa for all the AoT enthusiasts out there. My teacher is a chubby white man who cannot manage to keep me awake in class. He has a sarcastic sense of humour, but he is not the problem of the class.

The problem is the student behind me has a chronic head cold, and has needed a tissue for the past 4 weeks. It sounds like hes blowing his nose, but in the opposite direction (gross amirite.) I honestly have the urge to bring the tissue box to him and slam it in on his desk. You do not understand how hard it is to write a quiz on minimal studying when all of a sudden "AFUIALFI.HAVE.NASAL.ISSUES.AHFALJIFF" ATTACKS YOU FROM BEHIND

Apart from that, I have also witnessed the student wipe his nose on his sleeve which is like disgusting and elementary...
and he was also like "I dont make friends I make aquaintances" nigga you dont have friends cause you nasty af

Period 2 : Calc 

Calc is usually not a class taken in the first semester, since 30 is the prerequisite and swc will not allow you to take 30 in grade 11. So you can imagine my surprise when it did show up on my timetable (I expected it in the 2nd semester). WEll if no one in grade 11 took math 30 last year, who could possibly be in my class?

Its full of upgrading students. Like not to be offending those who are upgrading, I guess it means you're taking your life seriously and you want to get into something decent. There is only one other student in my class of on average 15 students that is also in grade 12. not grade 13.. Oh and about 10 of the 15 speak Chinese as their first language in class. 

Normally, I am super cocky when it comes to mathematics. And honestly, being in IB math showed me how much a mistake is worth, and that there are people who are more careful than me, and if grades reflected intelligence, are "smarter" than me. Being in this class though, has had my ego skyrocketing through the clouds.
So you know that feeling when you finish a test first and you hand it in while everyone gives you dirty looks? And then you get it back and you've failed? LOOOOOOL DOESNT HAPPEN TO ME

Period 3 : Social Studies
dash 1 social hardest class of my life
Like come on for a subject that 80% of high school doesn't even respect lay off the heat brah
My teacher's been gone for the past week and wont be back for another week so the class is lost and we just watch how its made for an hour. Our last sub was kind of a pain as we asked him what was on the quiz we were supposed to have and he replied "were you even here yesterday and the day before like pay attention" we literally have not learned anything. And I cannot write so I failed my essay. My teacher appears to take quantity over quality...

How I Met Your Mother Ending =__=

So after reading this http://physicsnotphysics.blogspot.ca/2014/05/spoilersssssssssssssss.html I would just like to shed some light on my side of the story. 

What happened was that I stopped watching How I Met Your Mother for a few weeks because I watching Death Note and I just didn't have time to keep up with it. On the night of the season finale, Haiger (who was keeping up with it) started spam messaging me about it and I specifically said to her "I haven't watched it yet, I'll talk to you about it after I watch it" and I actually put so much effort into avoiding spoilers (via facebook, reddit..ect). A week or so later at work, Haiger asks me "Have you watched the ending yet?" and I say to her "No". Now guess what she does? SHE SPOILS IT FOR ME. WHAT THE HELL. I PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO AVOIDING SPOILERS AND I WAS LIKE 2 EPISODES AWAY FROM THE END AND SHE SPOILS IT FOR ME. So then I did what any normal person would do and I slapped her.

Okay so lately Meiting has been on my case for PNP not posting enough so I am here to satisfy her needs.
Since I am waiting for my Macbeth videos to convert to MPEG so I can edit them I will rant about my feelings to the ending of How I Met Your Mother. Funny story, a few weeks after the finale of the show came out Mark how not yet finished the series but I thought he did so in the middle of work I screamed out the surprising ending to him and he slapped me in the face.....

so first off, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ENDING I AM SO MAD I DID NOT MARATHON HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER 4 TIMES JUST SO TED CAN DATE ROBIN FOR THE 213123214344TH TIME I AM SO FRICKIN PISSED. The series producers spend 8 years making a show about how Ted met the MOTHER key word in that sentence is MOTHER and at the end of it all Ted wants Robin like I cannot deal with this right now. In my opinion I really disliked the ending I felt like the mother deserved way more show time considering the title of the series...... I don't think I will ever get over this, goodbye.

Long time no see :) Recap of my days

Wow. It's been a really long time since I've blogged (mainly because laziness). Ill just give you guys a quick rundown of these past two months. K I can't remember that far back so I'll just start you guys off in late April.

Vancouver Trip 

So late April, our touring band ensemble went on a three day trip to Vancouver to play at the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival and just tour around and I've got to say that It's REALLY pretty there compared to Calgary. Everything just seems to have more...color, like the sky is more blue, there's flowers blooming, and leafy trees everywhere. What was even more sad is that it started snowing like two hours after we got back to Calgary =__=. Overall, it was a really fun trip except for the long ass bus rides and my bus buddy made it her life mission to annoy the crap out of me and it took all my willpower to prevent myself from strangling the life out of her(I'm pretty sure we spent over 30 hours in total just bussing). We ended up playing really well at the festival and we had Vancouver pho (Calgary pho is definitely better). 

One of the best things that I have ever experienced is Sherlock. So one of my roommates introduced me to this show called Sherlock and it is FREAKING AMAZING. We watched like an episode a night in the hotel rooms and now I think I am in love.

Band Concert

So basically we had a band concert after the Vancouver trip.....and yeah......OH we (jazz band and vocal jazz) played a collaboration of this song called Orange Coloured Sky and I ended up humming that song in my head for like the next 2 weeks.

IB Exams
Sooooooooooooooooooooo yeah I just finished writing my Math and Physics papers. I actually worked my ass off studying for physics. I spent so much time and effort memorizing theories, notes, and derivations and spent countless hours doing practice tests and there still ended up being this one question on the exam in which I had no clue what was going on G_G but whatever because at least now I know that the square of the amplitude of the wave function is the probability of finding an electron in that area (schrodinger more like scrotumdigger). However, the math exams were by far the least I've ever prepared for a test. My math teacher mentioned to the class that we should be spending at least 20 hours in total studying for it but I think I spent a total of like an hour and a half studying. Originally, I actually had 2 days laid out purely meant for studying but I ended up watching House and somehow managed to watch 3 movies and 15 episodes of House in two days (each House ep is like 40 minutes) but the math exams still ended up being easy LOL.

Today
So today my group and I officially started filming for our ELA project (we're making a modern version of Macbeth) and so far its going pretty well ^__^. I'm actually really behind in social studies but long weekend so sweq.

Aaron also told me two jokes today and they were BY FAR  the dumbest, lamest, and unfunny jokes I have EVER heard (but I still somehow managed to laugh my head off after he told me) and I'll share them with you guys (does anyone even read our blog anymore? LOL)

Operas with Meiting

OKay so shit it's been so long since anyone posted on this, props to lzhang for making an effort over spring break.
First week back at school after spring break was a pain in the ass, my homework skills are on point, and by on point I mean I don't do homework, ya that really screwed me over. But Meiting invited me to see this opera with her on Thursday night, and idk I've never been to an opera but plays are pretty cool and so are musicals and opera kinda falls into the same category as them so why not. I was actually pretty excited for a bit because Meiting' tickets were like front row jubilee tickets(ok like row six) and live shows are really awesome in my opinion, the opera started off with a song and I thought "oh opening music number and all" BUT NAH cause the song was in frickin ITALIAN OR SPANISH IDEK and I had to read these dumb subtitles that were strategically placed basically on the ceiling of the Jubilee so if you're sitting right at the stage you can either watch the singers on stage or read the subtitles but you cannot do both without developing some sort of neck cramp by the end of the opera... Okay so basically after the first song was over I thought they would start some sort of dialogue but they just KEPT SINGING FOR LIKE 3 HOURS IN ITALIAN and the worst part is there was only so much room available for subtitles and when more than one person was singing they couldn't show all the subtitles and there were times when I had no idea what was going on. And I may have fallen asleep during the first act because boring. I really do recommend operas to be sung in English....
Meiting really enjoyed it though, and if she reads this thanks for the tickets I really appreciated it even though the opera sucked :-)

Spring break upd8 from lzm8 & pet peeve

Hey guys (does anyone still even check up on us), it's been a really long time since anyone made a post here..and if you're one of our fans who check here frequently, I sincerely apologize. I don't know why the others aren't posting, but I haven't been posting cause frankly, I don't find it fair that I'm revealing all my thoughts without being able to read into anybody else's >_> equivalent exchange haven't you watched full metal alchemist? damn...

Anyways, so I'm gonna recap what happened for me during spring break - basically league, league, and league. The PnP crew went out for all you can eat kbbq/sushi for Brandon's bday (pics will be up some other time since I'm on my phone and idk how to add photos lol).

Umm.. I got demoted to silver 4 cause I'm awful at that game, but I've been doing work in norms lel. I think although supposedly the hardest role in terms of mechanics, I feel most comfortable playing ad carry, cause idk melee and leading the fight isn't me..I prefer being the far away sniper that isn't near the team fight to get hit but manages to get all the kills :p WELL, yeah basically a lot of league hahah.

I also started reading a manga this spring break called Bakuman. It's about two kids who try to become mangakas (manga writers) together. The main character and the girl he likes are both so freaking shy towards each other, they never even go out or talk to each other. However, their love is stronger than a thousand suns, obvious after out of impulse, he asks her to marry him when they fulfill their dreams (when he becomes a successful mangaka and she becomes a voice actress), to which she says yes. Now, I'm totally hooked onto it. It has humour, romance, and powerful messages too. I really envy how passionate the main characters are about manga, and how hard working they are on the attempt to reach their dreams. It really makes me think about what I'm doing with my life, and what exactly I'm passionate about myself. I think that all jobs are the same - jobs. Hard work for money. So when people ask me what I want to do when I grow up, I say a doctor, because 1. I'm Asian lol, and 2. Because I know it racks in the money. But do I actually have a burning passion for medicine and curing patients? Not in particular. This really scares me though. Lots of people now already know what they want to do, based on what they like. I'm worried because nothing excites me (well, nothing reasonable that is). If somebody asked me about my absolute dream job, it'd probably be something like a player in the NBA, or a footballer in la liga. Or an LCS player. Rofl. BUT anyways basically Bakuman = feels. Makes me want to find something I like doing and work hard at it. That's why today I started practicing piano again. Trying to learn the song called To Love's End from this Inuyasha movie (recommend 10/10).

Man. I actually did not go out at all this spring break doe. I feel so lazy now. Due to IB exams in the same time as track (and partly me being a pussy I guess), I'm not doing track this year either. When my dad asked me if I wanted to go workout at the gym while he went swimming, I said I didn't feel like it, a tinge of self-pity and relief going through me. Idk. Two years ago I was the person who'd always ask others to go out to do stuff, and try out for all the school sports regardless if I was good or not, etc., but nowadays I just dont have that motivation anymore. Maybe it's because of some past failures (don't wanna get into those lool), who knows, but all I know is man I'm at a stump. Actually TBH, I guess I just want like a twin or best friend my age who wants to practice shooting three pointers together, or workout or go for a run together or something, or bboy and start up a crew again(oh man those were the days). Idk. :/

Wth ok I've gone REALLY off topic. The title's called pet peeve cause I was in bed and suddenly thought of this (well I thought of it a long time ago but just suddenly decided to blog about it). K well, huge pet peeve (or nvm, not pet peeve, more like..how do I word it..stuff I don't like?) are those beanies that I see all the time with the writing in white on it. You probably know what I'm talking about - that one chick in school who you do a double take to cause she got on her forehead the phrase 'Bad Hair Day' or something? OH or my favorites, the ones with insults on them like 'RATCHET' or 'BITCH'. Like, why the fuck you wearing something that's literally labelling you as a ratchet bitch?? You think that shit's cute or something?? I know everyone has their own opinions on stuff like this but honestly..who's the fucktard who thought that wearing stuff like 'NASTY' over your head was a good idea...NO, makes you look like the same word on your beanie. Lolol
